Mission
To build our hikers’ self-confidence, deepen their connection to nature, and help them sharpen their social skills.

Fifty years ago, kids grew up much closer to the natural world. Recently, research has shown how important it is to spend time in the forests and fields, especially for developing minds. We aim to get kids out on the trail— safely, mindfully, and joyfully immersed in the outdoors.

Education
Education: Each Trek has an educational focus and learning objectives, from wilderness tech to wildlife safety to ancient legends. Hikers learn through discussion and direct contact with nature.
Stewardship
Stewardship: We're not just hikers, we are community stakeholders and planet protectors. We are prepared and mindful. We respect ourselves, each other, and our habitat.
Adventure
Adventure: Our Trekkers go on big hikes worthy of the Pacific Northwest. We explore coves, tidal pools, lava tubes, and ruins. We cross rivers and scramble over boulders. We climb mountains.
