We keep our groups small: typically 2-4 kiddos. This is one aspect that sets us apart from typical summer camps. Why is this?:
One reason is that small groups allow us to safely travel to and trek on more wild trails—Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, the Columbia River Gorge.
A second reason is that in larger groups, the social “group” dynamic tends to take center-stage. While one goal of T4K is to help hikers sharpen their social skills, Treks are just as much about a hiker’s individual experience in nature.
